“Too Far Gonzo” comes from a review of bestselling author Jimmy Lee Shreeve’s investigative book Blood Rites (Arrow 2005), which was published in New Humanist Magazine. It wasn’t overly complimentary 😉 The reviewer Rosie Waterhouse thought the book had gone too far down the road of “gonzo journalism.” Nevertheless, it summed up Jimmy’s writing style to the letter, which, when he isn’t writing to a strict brief, is cranked up journalism with more than a dash of humor and wry commentary.
